CHAW presents an exhibition of works by photographer Kristoffer Tripplaar opening this Saturday. The exhibit is curated by Bruce McKaig. Admission is free for the opening reception and the exhibit, which closes on August 31, 2012. Gallery hours are: 9:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m. (M-Th), 9:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (F), and 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (Sat).
Kristoffer Tripplaar is a Washington, D.C. native and a graduate of the Corcoran College of Art & Design. His photographs have been published all over the world in publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, Newsweek, Time Magazine, Fortune Magazine, Rolling Stone and People Magazine. He covers a wide range of subjects from The White House and Capitol Hill to offbeat Americana. When not chasing politicians, cruising through town in a motorcade and wearing ties he can be found wondering around working on variety of personal projects.
